Please see the following update sent on behalf of Structural Soils Ltd:

Structural Soils Ltd (SSL) wish to advise stakeholders that the next and final crane lift operations associated with the A83 Rest and Be Thankful Long-Term Solution (LTS) ground investigation works, which will require traffic to be diverted onto the Old Military Road, are scheduled to take place on Tuesday 26th and Wednesday 27th August. As communicated for previous closures, these works include crane lifts of specialist drilling equipment and ancillary equipment off and onto the hillside.

The OMR diversions will be in place between 0800 and 1800 on both the 26th and 27th August. Subject to any unforeseen circumstances such as adverse weather, these will complete all the scheduled crane lifts as part of this project. We would like to thank local communities and road users for their cooperation.

Transport Scotland will issue a press release confirming the upcoming diversions on to the Old Military Road in due course.
