Energy Saving Scotland

The Energy Saving Scotland advice centre Highlands and Islands is funded by the Scottish Government and provides free, impartial advice and support in Argyll and Bute on all matters relating to energy efficiency as part of a range of services delivered across Scotland by a network of centres working for the Energy Saving Trust.

We work with Argyll and Bute Council and a diverse mix of community organisations to promote these services in order to alleviate fuel poverty, help people save money and reduce their carbon footprint.

We provide a free phone number, 0800 512 012, that allows householders to easily access advice on energy efficiency, eligibility for grants, access to schemes offering free insulation and advice on renewables. Similar services are available for businesses and private sector landlords via the same free phone number.
